2 sticks margarine or butter
1 cup chopped nuts
1 8-oz. Package Dates (chopped)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
Dash of salt
3 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup Angel flake coconut
Powered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook margarine, dates, brown sugar, and vanilla for 5 minutes until dates dissolve. Add dash of salt and nuts. Add cereal and coconut. Roll into balls while hot and roll balls in 10X sugar. Wear gloves, batter is hot! After cookies are cool, roll in powdered sugar again. These freeze well.
