Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Your own 9-11" apple pie recipe.

Topping:
1/2 cup light brown sugar
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
After you have baked your own delicious apple pie, melt butter, brown sugar, & corn syrup in a nonstick pan. Then mix in flour, stir until smooth, & add nuts. Pour over top of the cooked pie, spread evenly. Bake @ 425 for 10 minutes or until bubbly. I put some foil under the pie because it can drip & be messy.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I make this pie often & I don't know anyone who doesn't love it. My husband even asks for it to be his birthday cake. You could probably put it on pumpkin or other fruit pies too. It reminds me of Fran & the wonderful Southern hospitality that has always been shown to me in Columbus, MIssissippi.
