1 lb hamburger
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
1 T. apple cider vinegar
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 qt water
2 t. chili powder
2 t. salt
pepper
flour and water
48 Ritz crackers
2-4 c. grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onion and garlic in a Dutch oven. Add vinegar, water, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper. Simmer for 20 min. Thicken with 1/2 c. flour and 2/3 c. water, mixed in a separate bowl until a thick paste, then add stirring quickly (you may have to adjust the amount of paste to make it thick). In a 9 x 13" baking pan, layer 1/2 meat mixture with crackers then cheese. Repeat once ending with cheese. Bake at 350º for about 25 min or until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbling.

This casserole can be cooked in the microwave if made in a glass pan. Just bake on high setting for 5 min and medium (50%) setting for 5 min, turning twice while cooking.
