Ingredients:  
1 cup powdered white sugar
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup oil (Crisco---other kinds get too heavy)
2 eggs
4 1/2 cup unbleached flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter.
2. Add eggs and beat well.
3. Add oil and vanilla.
4. Mix together flour, salt, soda, cream of tartar and add to first mixture.
5. Roll in small balls.
6. Flatten with small glass that has been dipped in sugar.
7. Bake at 375 oven until very light brown---approx. 10 minutes.

* Note: Add food coloring to cookies for holidays or add colored sprinkles on top before baking---kids will love them.
