2 C. Sugar
1 C. light corn syrup
1/2 C. Water
1/2 tsp food coloring ( red cinnamon or green for mint or wintergreen)
1/2 tso cinnamon oil ( from drug store)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and cook over med heat to hard crack stage 300º. Pour into heavily buttered square pan, metal is best. Size will depend on how thick you want candy. Candy sets very fast. Can score with butter knife while still quite warm. Makes it easier to break into pieces.
