1c.milk
1/2c. cocoa powder and butter
1 egg
1c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1c. sifted flour
1/2tsp. baking powder
1/4tsp. salt
1tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Slowly add the milk with the cocoa powder, mix well. Cook over low hear, stirring constantly until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes). Remove from the heat. Add the brown sugar, butter and the egg. Beat well. Add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla. Blend well. Beat 1 minute. Pour batter into a greased paper lined shallow cake pan or cookie sheet(15x10x1/2 inches). Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool. Cover with icing.
