1 1/2 cups plus 2 Tbsp golden malted flour

2 3/4 cups oatmeal

1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp each ginger, cinnamon, allspice
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 egg beaten
54 almond halves, ( 2 ounce pkg)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Grease cookie sheet

Combine oatmeal, flour, sugar, spices in large bowl and mix well. Cut in butter, Stir in syrup and egg and mix well. Form into 1 inch balls. Transfer to prepared cookie sheet and lightly press almond half into each ball.

Bake until lightly browned about 15 minutes.
