5 1/2 Cups of Pitted Tart Cherries
3 cups Sugar
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
2 Tablespoon Quick Cook Tapioca Pudding
Ready-made Pie Crust

Directions:
Directions:
Make tapioca pudding - set aside
Mix Cherries, sugar and Almond extract together let set for 15 minutes.
Drain Cherry mixture of excess liquid
Add Tapioca pudding and mix together.
Place bottom pie crust in bottom of pie plate
Cut long 1" strips of upper crust
Pour cherry mixture into pie plate
Weave pie strips across top of mixture.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees

You may want to place a piece of tinfoil around the edge of the pie for the first 30 minutes of baking to avoid burning the edges
