1 pound large prunes, pitted
1/2 pound dried apricots
1/2 pound dried pears
1 lemon,sliced thin
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
Whole walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar and water. Stuff prunes with walnuts.
Layer fruits in pan and top with lemon slices. Cook 20 minutes occasionally pushing down on top layer gently. Leave fruit in pan to cool.
