2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup black walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Let 2 cups sugar, milk and butter boil up once.
Put 1/2 cup sugar in large skillet. Cook over moderate heat to caramel stage stirring constantly.
Pour first sugar mixture into carmel, cook to soft ball stage. Remove from fire, cool.
Add chopped walnuts. Beat until candy grains. Spread in buttered pan.
