1 onion sliced
2 slices of bacon
1 quart sauerkraut
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 1/2 cups water
1 T brown sugar
2 T grated raw potato
1 red pepper chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Chop bacon and cook. Add onions and peppers; cook until transparent, remove and drain on paper towel. Pour sauerkraut pan, add bacon,onion & peppers. Dissolve the bouillon cubes and brown sugar in the water; add to sauerkraut. Simmer for about an hour. Stir in the grated potato and cook another 20 minutes.
