1 cup evaporated milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted dates - chopped
1 cup pecans - chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pan cook sugar and milk over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly to prevent scorching to 235º. Add dates and cook until dates soften and blend. Add pecans and mix thoroughly. Roll in waxed paper and chill. Slice.
