4 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 c Crisco (or 1/2 butter, 1/2 Crisco)
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c milk
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Mix all other ingredients and add. Combine slowly by using hands to mix together. Dough will be soft and sticky. Using lots of flour, roll dough out to 1/4" thickness. Cut and bake 8 to 10 minutes until just done when touched with fingers. (NOTE: These cookies don't brown. They may be done and still be white.) Frost with white icing.
