Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups chocolate chips
3 eggs
5 cups flour
1 ½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars and butter in mixing bowl then add eggs and vanilla next and mix.
Add salt and soda to flour and stir then add to mixing bowl and mix.
Stir in chocolate chips last.
Spoon onto cookie sheet about 1 tablespoon each.
Cook first batch a little longer than rest. You want to pull them out of the oven when they still look not done just a little brown around the edges and maybe a little on top.
Oven temp 350 degrees. Baking time usually 10 minutes for first batch and 8-9 for batches after that.
Makes about 8 dozen cookies.
