48 Hersheys Kisses Chocolate candies
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/3 granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg 2 Tbls. Milk
1 teas. Vanilla 1 1/2 cups flour
1 teas. baking soda 1/2 teas. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 375º. Remove wrappers from chocolate Kisses. Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended, add the sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, milk, vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda and salt.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press a KISS into the center of each cookie. Place on wire rack to cool.
