Moist Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup hot coffee
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Icing:
1 cup milk
5 Tbs. flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together all dry ingredients in an large bowl.Add oil,coffee, and milk; mix at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and vanilla mix 2 minutes more. Pour into 2 greased, floured 9" cake pans. Bake @ 325 for 25 -30 minutes. Meanwhile, for icing, combine milk and flour in a saucepan, cook until thick. Cover and refrigerate to cool. In a medium mixing bowl, beat butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add cooled milk/flour mixture and beat for 10 minutes. Frost cake!~ ENJOY

This cake has a superb taste and tender texture. The icing is the best I have ever had...not too sweet and very creamy.
