2 1/3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
peel of one lemon, grated
3 Tbsp orange juice
3/4 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. In separate bowl, blend together butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Then add egg, grated lemon, and orange juice and beat well. Stir in pecans and gradually add flour mixture. Dough will be stiff. Divide dough in half. Shape into a roll about 1 1/4 inches in diameter and about 12 inches long. Roll up tightly in wax paper. Chill overnight. Cut dough into 1/4-inch slices, place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
