Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound butter
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup whole unblanched almonds
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
1- Melt butter in a large heavy sauce pan. Add sugar, cook and stir over highest heat until mixture foams vigorously. Cook and stir mixture over low heat for 5 more minutes.
2- Add the whole unblanched almonds, stir over high heat until nuts begin to pop. Reduce heat and continue cooking for 7 minutes (here is when it burns a little bit to give candy a bittersweet taste). If mixture darkens too quickly, remove it from heat but continue to stir the full 7 minutes.
3- Pour candy into a hallow greased pan, 12" x 15" to cool.
4- Melt chocolate chips and spread 1/2 of chocolate over candy and top with nuts. When cool, flip candy out of pan onto wax paper. Coat this side of candy with the remaining chocolate and nuts. When chocolate has harden, break candy into pieces.
