1 c. butter
1 c. Crisco oil
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/4 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, oil, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add cream of tartar, salt, soda and flour and mix. Chill 6 hours. Roll into balls. Flatten on ungreased cookie sheet with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375º for 10 - 12 min. Makes about 3 dozen large cookies.
