1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixer bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Blend in remaining ingredients on low speed to soft dough, scraping bowl constantly.
