1 Pillsbury Double Pudding white -moist supreme cakemix ( or another cake w/pudding in mix)
1/4 C shortening
1/4 C butter or margarine
1/2 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 C coconut
1 tsp vanilla
1 C chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter & shortening on high for 30 seconds (I used the butter flavored Crisco for the 1/2 C) - add brown sugar, mix til combined. Add eggs and vanilla and mix again. Add cake mix, beat as much as you can with the mixer (if too stiff, stir in remaining with spoon) Stir in coconut and pecans - drop by teaspsoon 2" apart - Bake 375 for 8-10 minutes. Until lite brown edges, (The longer you bake them the crispier the cookie or vice versa)
