1 Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. butter
2 large eggs
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 1/2 cups (10oz) pecan halves chopped
3/4 cup sweetened flake coconut
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs. In a heavy saucepan whisk together the butter, salt, brown sugar and corn syrup over medium heat until melted and smooth. Then whisk this mixture into the bowl with the beaten eggs. Stir in nuts and coconut. Place pie crust into greased 8" glass pie pan, then place chocolate chips over the bottom of the pie crust. Pour filling into pie crust over chips. Bake until set, around 45 minutes. Let cool before serving.
