Speedy Crust:
2 cups flour
2 tsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup vegetable oil
3 Tbsp milk


Filling:
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
dash nutmeg
dash salt
vanilla extract
2 Tbsp butter
5-7 Granny Smith apples peeled and thinly sliced

Directions:
First make crust:
With a fork mix crust ingredients until dry ingredients are moistened and crumb-like. Remove 1/3 cup and set aside.

Press remaining crust evenly on glass pie plate bottom and sides. Set aside.

Make pie filling:
Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon.
Mix in sliced apples until apples are coated
Pour in to pie crust.
Sprinkle the top with vanilla and place slice of butter over the top
Top with remaining 1/3 cup extra crumb crust
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and the crust is golden
