1/2 c soft shortening
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c mashed bananas (about 2)
2 c sifted G.M. Flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs. Stir in bananas. Sift dry ingredients. Add. Blend in nuts. Chill 1 hour. Bake in preheated 375º oven. Drop by rounded tbsp 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet for 8-10 minutes. Frost with thin confectioners' sugar icing.
