2 lbs. white chocolate chips
12 large candy canes, crushed
1/2 t. peppermint oil

Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.

Put candy canes in heavy zip lock bag and remove as much of the air as possible, break up candy with hammer. I wrap the hammer head in a wash cloth to reduce the damage to the bag.

Melt vanilla chips in double boiler over medium heat. Stir until melted, add peppermint oil and crushed candy canes. Stir well and pour onto prepared baking sheet.
Chill for 30 minutes. Break into pieces and store in tight container.
