1 c. butter
1 c. Sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg, molasses and vanilla extract and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together. Gradually add dry ingredients until well blended. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 1-2 hours. Preheat oven to 350º. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8" thick. Dip cookie cutter in flour and cut out crab cookies. Place cookies on cookie sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
