2 C. flour
1 tbsp. ground ginger
3/4 C. shortening
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1/4 C. molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together; cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs and molasses; add dry ingredients and mix well. Form into teaspoon size balls and roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350º 12 - 15 minutes.
