4 cups milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
5 egg yolks
3/4 stick butter or oleo
pinch of salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk. Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch with small amount of heated milk; stir in egg yolks. Cook until thick. Add unmelted butter, vanilla, chips to color, coconut and pecans; cool shortly. Put into 9-inch baked pie shell.
TOPPING:
Mix: 4 cups stiff whipped cream (1 pint unwhipped)
chocolate syrup to color
Add coconut and 1 cup pecans, pile high on pie.
