1 tbsp corn starch
6 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup water
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar, corn starch, salt and water in a small pan and cook until thickened. Cool. Beat egg whites until frothy and stand up. Add cooled mixture a tbsp at a time while beating until it's all gone. Add vanilla also while beating. Put on cooled pie and make sure the edges of the pie are covered with the meringue. Bake until lightly browned. 400 degrees, should take 5 to 7 minutes.
