1 cup buttermilk
2 cups sugar
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Combine and cook over a low heat until soft ball stage. Add: 1/4 stick oleo (2 tbsp); 1 tsp. vanilla and nuts. Whip until it loses its gloss and becomes stiff. Pour into cookie sheet and chill.
