2 c. coconut cream, 1 1/2 cups almond-flavored syrup (see note), 2 c. white rum, 1 1/4 cups orange curaçao, 1 can (46 ounces) unsweetened pineapple juice, 4 cups half and half, dark rum for topping.

Combine all ingredients except dark rum. You can store the mixture in the refrigerator or freezer at this point. Just before serving, fill blender no more than half full of crushed ice. Add enough liquid to fill blender and whir until smooth. Top each drink with a dash of dark rum. (Almond syrup is available in liquor stores. To make your own, add 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract to 1 1/2 cups sugar syrup).
