Ingredients:
10-12 Idaho potatoes, 1 stick butter, Lawry's seasoning salt, 1/2 pint whipping cream (or enough to moisten the potato mixture all the way through).

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes till almost done. Cool at least 3 hours. Peel. Grate in a layer in baking dish. Dot with butter. Sprinkle lightly with Lawry's seasoning salt. Layer potatoes, butter, and seasoning salt 3-4 times. Prepare ahead of time and refrigerate. Just before baking, pour 1/2 pint whipping cream over the potatoes. Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350º.

Jan Davies makes these with refrigerated grated potatoes, which wisely saves time. Some add cheese to this recipe too.

Personal Notes:
This dish was served often around the Dodgeville area and became a favorite served at holidays and family gatherings. Alex Bastian submitted this for the Madison Central Montessori Preschool cookbook, as his favorite recipe. He also drew a cute picture of "potatoes".
