Sauce: 1 (10 oz.) jar of apple, strawberry, or grape jelly, 1/2 cup of ketchup, 1/2 cup (or more to taste) Szechwan sauce, other spices to taste.

Meatballs: 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck or round, 1 egg (beaten), 1/2 c. rolled oats, 1/2 c. minced onions, pepper, 1/2 c. parsley.

Mix sauce ingredients and warm.

Combine meatball ingredients into 1 inch diameter balls. Bake at 350º for 20-30 minutes. Pour sauce over meatballs and serve with the sauce or on toothpicks as appetizers.
