3 whole chicken breasts, halved, 1 (3 oz) pkg. dried beef cut in pieces, 3 slices of bacon split in half lengthwise, 1 pint sour cream, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 T. chopped parsley (optional).

Optional topping: Muenster cheese and chopped chives.

Grease large skillet pan and place dried beef on bottom. Wrap bacon around the chicken and place on dried beef.

In bowl, mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup (no water) and pour on chicken. Sprinkle parsley on chicken. Cover and place in 300º oven for 2 hours. Uncover and bake 1 more hour, until fork can be inserted in chicken easily.

Muenster cheese and chives can top the chicken (optional).

Aunt Lois was known as a great cook in preparing everything from breads to desserts. After she and Paul raised their children on the farm, she lived in a location close to Centennial Park, so could help arrange things for family reunions there.
