1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 (8oz) pkg. dates, chopped
2-3 cups coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup Rice Krispies

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan combine sugar, margarine and dates. Cook over low heat until margarine has melted and sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, add pecans and Rice Krispies., cool slightly. Roll into 1 inch balls, roll in coconut. Makes 30 balls.
