1/2 CUP WHITE KARO SYRUP
1 CUP WATER
1 TABLESPOON VINEGAR
1 TABLESOON BUTTER

MIX - COOK WITHOUT STIRRING OVER MED HEAT UNTIL A FEW DROPS IN COLD WATER WILL FROM A "HARD"BALL STAGE.
REMOVE, ADD FLAVORING AND COLORING DESIRED.
LET COOL ON BUTTERED PLATE UNTIL COOL ENOUGH TO HANDLE - BUTTER HANDS - PULL UNTIL CREAMY AND READY TO CRACK - PULL INTO ROPES AND BREAK INTO PEICES.
